Course 06

Post-Diagnosis Identity

Re-meet yourself without shame.

What this course is for

Getting a diagnosis - or finally recognising yourself in autism/ADHD/ND - is a plot twist. Relief, grief, anger, confusion, and big questions about who you are now.

For late-diagnosed or newly self-identified ND adults asking "Was I just lazy?", "Who am I now?", or "What does this mean for my past?" You will process the diagnosis, unlearn shame, and build a self-affirming post-diagnosis identity at your own pace.

What you will work through

  • Write your Diagnosis Origin Story
  • Map your feelings - relief, grief, anger, hope - without rushing any of them
  • Find and unlearn internalised ableism scripts ("lazy", "broken")
  • Translate diagnostic criteria into "my brain in real life" language
  • Rewrite who you are - traits, values, strengths, needs
  • Decide who gets to know, and write disclosure scripts if you choose
  • Build your living Post-Diagnosis Identity Map

Pacing and emotional load

No gatekeeping. Self-identification is treated with the same respect as a formal diagnosis. No rushing to acceptance. No silver-lining pressure.

Emotional load: Medium-high - grief and anger are valid and held here. Pause and return any time.

How you access it

After purchase, you receive an access key (prefix: H2H-PDI) and instructions to open the course inside the How To Human platform. Practice privately at your own pace.
